| Built In Flueless Gas Fire - CVO Recess System |
We are the only manufacturer who has an open flamed flueless gas fire that can be recessed into the wall. This is achieved by using our special recess system and deflector gather. This system is available as an optional extra to fit the following flueless gas fire models : CLASSICO, MODERNO,and ANGEL. Our special recessed flueless gas fires were recently installled in the £500K apartments that have been build by specialist house builder Roxanne Construction at Lee-on-the -Solent. These modern apartments look out over the sea and are built to the highest standards. The recess system and deflector gather must be bought at the same time as a CVO flueless gas fire and cannot be supplied seperately. |

This is the wider of the two recess options, the smaller version is shown below. We are also able to create a bespoke recess down to 750mm if required.

| Where can I get the Technical Drawings for this design? |
There have been a number of incidents where customers have seen our pictures of the flueless recess system, have then downloaded the technical drawing from our site then then built their own recess. They have tehjn gone off and bought a totally different flueless gas fire only to find out a gas fitter will not install the fire because the installation instructions forbid it being recessed. After trying to replicate our design cheaply they then call us for technical help which we cannot give. If you want this style of fireplace then call our sales team today to discuss the options and we will email the drawings to you. Flueless gas fires are governed by very strict CE approvals and recessing the fire can affect this approval. |
| Is it possible to mount a TV above a Flueless Gas Fire? |
Note that the images shown are for illustration purposes only. These installations were done by proffessional UK building contractors. CVO cannot give any specific information on the installation of a TV above the fire as this type of installation needs careful planning to ensure the heat generated by the fire is not drawn into the TV cavity. Look carefully at the images and you will notice the TV has air all around and is recessed further back than the finished wall. This ensures ventilation is provided all around (large plasma TV's get hot regardless of the gas fire and need ventilation). There is also a small shelf to deflect the heat. With careful planning it is possible to achieve this look however it should not be entered into lightly. We can provide some guidance and advice in relation to the recessed gas fire but not the TV installation. |
| Can I position a shelf above a Flueless Gas Fire |
Our no flue, no chimney, flueless gas fires are also CE approved with a special deflector gather unit which allows a shelf to be fitted above the wall mounted flueless gas fire and also to recess the fire into the wall. The shelf must be to the correct sizes as shown in the installation booklet. The deflector is an optional extra that must be purchased with the fire. When buying a recess plate the price includes the deflector gather. |
| What options are there? |
The recess plate can be supplied in stainless steel or any colour as long as the powder coating is available. Standard items are Black or Cream. |
| How Much is it? |
There are lots of options and variations - Prices start from £1478 inc VAT and this includes the full package of parts including the flueless gas fire. |

The Deflector Gather and Shelf System fits All CVO Flueless Gas Fires.
The Recess Wall Plate fits the Angel Widescreen, Moderno, Classico. |

The recess plate is supplied manufactured from high quality brushed stainless steel. There are 3 standard colours options: White, Black or Cream. Other colours are available (RAL number required) on request. The recess must be purchased with the fire as the fire used is a special version.
The deflector gather is designed to fit all of our wall mounted flueless gas fires. The deflector MUST be ordered at the same time as the fire and is an optional extra which is charged at an extra cost.
